Current (2008-09) Edition

The current edition is entirely online, complete with course descriptions and full text. This online edition is new in July, 2008, and at present seems to work better with FireFox for Windows or Macintosh; most of the content is quite readable with other browsers.

Prior (2007-08) Edition

The prior edition is also entirely online. Follow the link, above, or follow the link for the current edition, and then select the prior edition in the pop-out selection at top center, below the "Search" box in the dark-green header, and click on the "GO" button to the right of the selection tool.

Acrobat Versions of Prior Ohio University Catalogs

If you have a graphical browser and Acrobat Reader (Version 3.0 or higher) installed, you might want to view the Acrobat versions of the undergraduate (2006-08 and earlier) and graduate (2005-07 and earlier) catalogs. These catalogs are complete, with all the text of the entire catalog, including the course descriptions. Each catalog's Acrobat file is more than a Megabyte, so people with slow network links may prefer to use the HTML versions, linked below.

HTML Versions of Prior Ohio University Catalogs

These catalogs are complete, with all the text of the entire catalog, including the discussions of all the degree programs and their requirements, except that the 2003-04 and earlier editions do not have the course descriptions. Those are may be made available in the future. The partial 1996-97 catalog (some parts of which were never placed on-line) is retained on-line for its limited historical value.

In the meantime, the complete course descriptions for each department are available on-line through the Acrobat Reader versions, linked above, and for the 2004-05 and later editions, through the links below.

Course descriptions for specific courses can also be found on-line through the Registrar's Course Offerings page. After selecting the term, campus, course prefix, etc., when the results page comes back, the second content column has the heading, "Title", and each entry in that column is a link to the complete information about that course, including the catalog course description.

2006-2008

Despite its title, this edition was actually in effect only for 2006-07; it was superceded for 2007-08 by the online edition, linked as discussed above.
